Test Before Installing</h2><p>Before permanently mounting the emblem, always bench test the system.</p><p>Temporarily connect the emblem, controller, and power harness to confirm that:</p><ul><li>The emblem powers on correctly.</li><li>The controller operates properly.</li><li>The emblem responds to the controller before permanent installation.</li></ul><p><strong>Do not permanently install the emblem until you have confirmed that it powers on correctly.</strong></p><hr><h2 id="2-emblem-placement--grille-installation">2. Emblem Placement &amp; Grille Installation</h2><p>Before wiring the system, determine where the emblem will be mounted on the front grille.</p><p>Clean the mounting area thoroughly and remove dirt, wax, oil, or other residue. Position the emblem in the desired location before tightening the mounting hardware.</p><p><strong>For grille-mounted emblems:</strong></p><ul><li>Make sure the emblem sits level and centered.</li><li>Route the wiring through the grille opening toward the engine bay.</li><li>Keep the wire away from sharp edges, radiator fans, belts, moving parts, and high-heat areas.</li><li>Secure loose wiring with zip ties.</li><li>Do not pull hard on the wire where it exits the emblem.</li></ul><p>Once the emblem is positioned correctly, secure it using the included mounting method.</p><hr><h2 id="3-wiring-safety">3. Wiring Safety</h2><p>Make sure the vehicle is turned off before wiring.</p><p>For safety, connect the <strong>negative/ground wire first</strong>, then connect the positive power wire.</p><p>Do not allow the positive wire to touch metal or ground while wiring.</p><hr><h2 id="4-connect-the-ground-wire-first">4. Connect the Ground Wire First</h2><p>Connect the black negative wire to a solid ground location.</p><p><strong>Recommended ground locations:</strong></p><ul><li>Clean, unpainted metal chassis ground</li><li>Existing factory ground bolt</li><li>Negative battery terminal</li></ul><p>Make sure the ground connection is tight and secure.</p><p>A poor ground can cause the emblem to flicker, fail to turn on, or operate incorrectly.</p><hr><h2 id="5-connect-the-positive-power-wire">5. Connect the Positive Power Wire</h2><p>Connect the red positive wire to a <strong>12V power source</strong>.</p><p>For most installations, AutoJeweler recommends using an <strong>ACC/accessory fuse location</strong> so the emblem turns on only when the vehicle is on. This helps prevent battery drain.</p><p><strong>If using a fuse tap:</strong></p><ul><li>Locate a fuse slot that provides 12V accessory power.</li><li>Insert the fuse tap securely.</li><li>Make sure the fuse tap is fully seated.</li><li>Avoid constant power unless you specifically want the emblem to have power when the vehicle is off.</li></ul><hr><h2 id="6-connect-the-sp668e-bluetooth-controller">6. Connect the SP668E Bluetooth Controller</h2><ol><li>Connect the power harness to the SP668E Bluetooth controller.</li><li>Connect the RGB Flow Series emblem to the output side of the controller.</li><li>Make sure all plugs are fully seated and aligned correctly.</li></ol><p>Loose or partially connected plugs can cause the emblem to fail to power on or display incorrect colors.</p><div style="margin:20px 0; padding:16px; border-left:4px solid #d71920; background:#f7f7f7;"><strong>Important:</strong> The SP668E Bluetooth controller is <strong>not waterproof</strong>. Mount the controller in a dry, protected area inside the engine bay away from direct water spray, excessive heat, and moving parts.</div><hr><h2 id="7-banlanx-app-setup">7. BanlanX App Setup</h2><p>Download the <strong>BanlanX</strong> app from the Apple App Store or Google Play.</p><p>Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone before attempting to connect.</p><ol><li>Open the BanlanX app.</li><li>Tap the <strong>+</strong> icon in the upper-right corner of the home screen.</li><li>Add the device.</li><li>Tap the settings icon in the upper-right corner of the app.</li></ol><p>From the settings page, you can modify the device name, adjust timing, change effects, and update firmware if available.</p><hr><h2 id="8-final-check">8.
