What's Included

Your kit may include:

  • RGB Flow Series LED emblem
  • SP668E Bluetooth control module
  • RF handheld remote
  • Power wiring harness
  • Fuse tap / power lead
  • Mounting hardware — mounting bracket, two nuts, and zip ties

Some kits may vary slightly depending on the emblem design.

1. Test Before Installing

Before permanently mounting the emblem, always bench test the system.

Temporarily connect the emblem, controller, and power harness to confirm that:

  • The emblem powers on correctly.
  • The controller operates properly.
  • The emblem responds to the controller before permanent installation.

Do not permanently install the emblem until you have confirmed that it powers on correctly.

2. Emblem Placement & Grille Installation

Before wiring the system, determine where the emblem will be mounted on the front grille.

Clean the mounting area thoroughly and remove dirt, wax, oil, or other residue. Position the emblem in the desired location before tightening the mounting hardware.

For grille-mounted emblems:

  • Make sure the emblem sits level and centered.
  • Route the wiring through the grille opening toward the engine bay.
  • Keep the wire away from sharp edges, radiator fans, belts, moving parts, and high-heat areas.
  • Secure loose wiring with zip ties.
  • Do not pull hard on the wire where it exits the emblem.

Once the emblem is positioned correctly, secure it using the included mounting method.

3. Wiring Safety

Make sure the vehicle is turned off before wiring.

For safety, connect the negative/ground wire first, then connect the positive power wire.

Do not allow the positive wire to touch metal or ground while wiring.

4. Connect the Ground Wire First

Connect the black negative wire to a solid ground location.

Recommended ground locations:

  • Clean, unpainted metal chassis ground
  • Existing factory ground bolt
  • Negative battery terminal

Make sure the ground connection is tight and secure.

A poor ground can cause the emblem to flicker, fail to turn on, or operate incorrectly.

5. Connect the Positive Power Wire

Connect the red positive wire to a 12V power source.

For most installations, AutoJeweler recommends using an ACC/accessory fuse location so the emblem turns on only when the vehicle is on. This helps prevent battery drain.

If using a fuse tap:

  • Locate a fuse slot that provides 12V accessory power.
  • Insert the fuse tap securely.
  • Make sure the fuse tap is fully seated.
  • Avoid constant power unless you specifically want the emblem to have power when the vehicle is off.

6. Connect the SP668E Bluetooth Controller

  1. Connect the power harness to the SP668E Bluetooth controller.
  2. Connect the RGB Flow Series emblem to the output side of the controller.
  3. Make sure all plugs are fully seated and aligned correctly.

Loose or partially connected plugs can cause the emblem to fail to power on or display incorrect colors.

Important: The SP668E Bluetooth controller is not waterproof. Mount the controller in a dry, protected area inside the engine bay away from direct water spray, excessive heat, and moving parts.

7. BanlanX App Setup

Download the BanlanX app from the Apple App Store or Google Play.

Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone before attempting to connect.

  1. Open the BanlanX app.
  2. Tap the + icon in the upper-right corner of the home screen.
  3. Add the device.
  4. Tap the settings icon in the upper-right corner of the app.

From the settings page, you can modify the device name, adjust timing, change effects, and update firmware if available.

8. Final Check

After installation:

  • Turn the vehicle on.
  • Confirm the emblem powers on.
  • Open the BanlanX app.
  • Test colors, effects, brightness, and patterns.
  • Secure all wiring with zip ties.
  • Confirm wires are away from heat, sharp edges, fans, belts, and moving parts.

Troubleshooting

Emblem Does Not Power On

  • Check the ground connection.
  • Confirm the fuse tap is installed in a powered ACC fuse location.
  • Make sure all plugs are fully seated.
  • Make sure the vehicle is turned on if using ACC power.
  • Confirm the controller is receiving power.

BanlanX App Does Not Find the Controller

  • Make sure Bluetooth is enabled.
  • Make sure the emblem/controller system has power.
  • Close and reopen the BanlanX app.
  • Tap the + icon and try adding the device again.
  • Confirm that you are using the BanlanX app.
